As he gears up to join Post Malone on his blockbuster Big Ass Stadium World Tour, Jelly Roll has joked that when he makes first trip to Europe, fans might mistake him for Post.
As part of the expansive series of shows, Jelly Roll will be performing his debut dates across The Pond. The Nashville crooner has previously been unable to travel to to his criminal record.
Although the ‘Save Me’ hitmaker has grown into one of the most popular artists in the US, Jelly Roll has modestly quipped that his face tattoos might lead to some of his European fans - especially those that are yet to see him in person - thinking he's Post Malone.
In a conversation with CMT, Jelly Roll has light-heartedly outlined, “I'm wondering if I lose a little more weight and when I get to Italy, if they're gonna mistake me for Post Malone”.
The ‘Son of a Sinner’ singer-songwriter hilariously went on, “You know what I mean? Like, if I get skinny enough that they just see face tattoos. They're like, ’Post! Post!’”
Jelly Roll has spoken on a number of occasions in recent months about how he's in the middle of a rigorous fitness regime, with Jelly even launching a Losers Run Club on Strava.
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show in November, Jelly Roll revealed that he'd already lost 120 pounds, with Jelly explaining how he worked with a nutritionist during his previous Beautifully Broken run of shows, “I’ve been kicking ass on this tour. I brought out a nutritionist, Ian Larios...and he’s been really helping me. We’ve been shooting basketball. We’ve been walking. We’ve been working”.
Post Malone and Jelly Roll's Big Ass Stadium Tour kicks off on April 29th at Salt Lake City's Rice-Eccles Stadium in Utah, with their keenly awaited European leg launching in mid-August.
