Zach Bryan continues to flood our Instagram feeds with new music, and quite frankly, we're not complaining, with the Oklahoma native gearing up to drop his With Heaven On Top EP.
There's no release date for that project just yet, but with the rate of unreleased teasers we've been getting in recent weeks, it certainly feels like that body of work is on the horizon.
The latest snippet we've been gifted stems from a new unreleased track titled ‘Metal’, with Zach Bryan crooning pensively across the ominous strum of his electric guitar, “Don't tell me you don't know where you're from, boy / I know you too damn well”.
Over the course of the undulating clip, the ‘I Remember Everything’ chart-topper seemingly addresses a childhood friend, with Zach Bryan rebuking them for forgetting their rural roots, “They got you some watch in the city that sits there on your wrist / While grandaddy's old timer sits in its case in some house you ain't been”.
Zach Bryan has confirmed he has both an EP and a full-length studio album dropping before 2025 is out, so it's unclear whether ‘Metal’ is set to be included on his With Heaven On Top EP or whether Bryan is holding it back for the album later in the year.
In addition to ‘Metal’, in recent weeks we've been treated to an array of snippets of unreleased tracks, such as ‘Santa Fe’, ‘River Road Drive’, ‘Skin’, ‘Always Willin’ and more, with Zach Bryan clearly making the most of his time away from the road.
Although Zach Bryan has booked a smattering of standalone shows for 2025, including a double-header at London's BST Hyde Park, a triple-header at Dublin's Phoenix Park and a blockbuster set at the biggest venue in the US, Michigan Stadium - the country-folk megastar has repeatedly confirmed he won't be touring this year.
Zach Bryan's new album is believed to be titled Motorbreath, with the ‘Something in the Orange’ crooner sharing a Matthew McConaughey-voiced clip of what appears to be the introduction to a forthcoming documentary following Bryan and his friends recording the project over a two-week motorcycle trip.
