While not much information has been shared yet about what the series will consist of, the five minute debut episode includes a smattering of clips from the last month which saw the Mississippi-born tunesmith headline five music festivals, as well as playing his own headlining shows and serving as support on Morgan Wallen's One Night At A Time World Tour.
In addition to his closing stadium spot on the Friday of CMA Fest, the chart-topping singer-songwriter also headlined Gulf Coast Jam 2023, Carolina Country Music Fest, Barefoot Country Music Fest and Lake Jam 2023 in the month of June.
Based on this first episode, fans can assume that the SOLD OUT SERIES will take us behind the scenes of the last several weeks of HARDY's touring life, including playing his first sold out arena show on his headlining the mockingbird & THE CROW Tour at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
With snippets of some of his country-infused rockers playing throughout, including 'the mockingbird & THE CROW,' 'Truck Bed' and 'i in country,' we also hear comments from HARDY about his shows and this year of touring.
"I'm making [music] for people that just want to feel something and that want to relate to stuff that might not be the most popular subject matter like 'wait in the truck,' 'Give Heaven Some Hell' and 'One Beer' - the songs that kind of touch on really heavy hitting issues." He continues, "I just really hope that people can relate. [I make music for] people that are going through things that not a lot of singers are singing about."
Later on, he notes: "[Each city] just keeps getting better and better. This is the best year of touring that I've ever had."
HARDY has had a breakthrough year so far in 2023, kicking off with the release of his dichotomous sophomore record the mockingbird & THE CROW. In addition to a packed touring schedule, he's also nabbed trophies at the 2023 CMT Music Awards and ACM Awards.
