During a recent interview with Baylen Leonard via Absolute Radio Country, the mockingbird & THE CROW star, HARDY, seemed to let slip about an upcoming UK tour for Morgan Wallen.

Wallen has never performed in the UK before, and his UK fanbase will be immensely excited at the prospect of seeing the ‘You Proof’ hitmaker perform live for the first time.

While chatting to Holler earlier this month, Wallen's good buddy, HARDY, revealed that he considered the Sneedville native to be the reigning ‘King of Country’.

The closest Wallen has come to crossing the Pond so far was a slew of dates that were scheduled for 2020. This tour then had to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In HARDY's interview with Baylen, the Mississippi native was responding to a question regarding some UK shows, when he outlined that he was hoping to come over in the Spring of 2024.

But the most intriguing part of HARDY's answer for Morgan Wallen fans was when he went on to casually state that, “I hope like Spring of 2024, because I know Morgan's going over there, but I'm going to be on my own tour when he's over there”.

Morgan Wallen's mammoth One Night At A Time world tour kicks off on March 15, while HARDY's the mockingbird & THE CROW tour spans from February 16 to April 29.

If what HARDY said is true, and Wallen really is heading over to the UK in 2023 while HARDY is already out on his own tour, then it would seem that Wallen's UK dates could be as early as the second half of February or the first half of March 2023, before Wallen heads down to Australia.

What adds to the intrigue is the fact that Morgan Wallen is currently gearing up to release his follow-up album to his record-breaking 2021 project, Dangerous.

It seems unlikely that Wallen would perform any live shows before the album is out, given that the tour will be in support of the record.

So if he's performing in the UK before March 15, then we can tentatively expect the album's release date to be in late February.

We're still trying to fill in the blanks, and it's not yet clear as to whether Wallen's UK tour would be in 2023 or 2024.

Either way, HARDY's accidental revelation will no doubt have Morgan Wallen's UK listeners queuing up his recent hits in anticipation, from his chart-topping single, ‘You Proof’, to the three-song ‘Sampler’ EP he released in December.

Meanwhile, HARDY continues to take his genre-blending, country-rock fusion across the US, with upcoming performances lined up on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and NBC's TODAY Show.
