It seems we're inching closer to that long-awaited 2027 Florida Georgia Line reunion tour, with Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley sending out a message to those signed up to FGL's mailing and SMS list hinting at an imminent announcement.

The message, which arrived out of the blue, reads simply, “Y'all got plans in 2027? Asking for a couple of friends. LFG”. Attached is a link to FGL's Bandsintown page, with fans able to request a show near them. This implies the chart-topping duo are still finalising exactly where they're planning to perform next year.

THubb and BK have been teasing a 2027 reunion tour ever since they linked up at CMA Fest in Nashville this summer, marking the end of their hiatus, which started back in 2022.

There's no promise of new music in tandem with this 2027 run, with Hubbard and Kelley still appearing focussed on their respective solo material. BK just released his latest album, Coral Beats, while THubb continues to drop singles ahead of his next record.

Once they've both completed these album cycles this year, though, we'd be surprised if their attention didn't then turn to a new collection of Florida Georgia Line songs.

We've seen shots of Hubbard and Kelley seemingly working on new music via Instagram, and given the widespread excitement across the country world about this trailblazing duo finally being back, a record would undoubtedly be welcomed with open arms.

Either way, it's heartening to see how Hubbard and Kelley have been able to squash any beef that had been leftover from their split, with the two artists having opened up about the somewhat contentious nature of their break-up in numerous interviews. Kelley even released ‘Kiss My Boots’, widely interpreted as a dig at Hubbard.

Now, though, we're glad that the ‘Cruise’ hitmakers are back on good terms. FGL once completely ripped up the country rulebook and inspired the genre's sound of the 2010's. With their last album, Life Rolls On, arriving in 2021, we can't wait to see what their next chapter of music would sound like in tandem with a blockbuster tour.

Hubbard recently paid tribute to his good buddy, BK, with a heartfelt birthday post via socials. The ‘902180’ crooner shared, “Happy birthday to my beach cruisin, fish catchin, cowboy hat wearin, cold beer drinkin, song singin brother BK. Love ya dude and hope you have the best year yet”. Kelley responded, “Thank you brother @tylerhubbard love ya! LFG”. ‘LFG’ - an anagram of FGL and, of course, the abbreviation of ‘Let's F***ing Go’, has become the signature sign-off for FGL in 2026.

We're curious to see what sized venues Florida Georgia Line plan to headline in 2027, with the decision to ask fans where they'd like to see them next year via this new Bandsintown link potentially a way of gauging demand. We'd love to see them not only taking their arsenal of earworms across North America, but also internationally, with FGL having plenty of fans in the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
