Bailey Zimmerman is sustaining his hot streak well into December, having just notched his first No. 1 at Country Radio. ‘Fall in Love’, which features on Zimmerman's Leave the Light On EP, has topped the Mediabase Country charts.
For the tracking period of November 27-December 3, 'Fall in Love' racked up over 34 million audience impressions. The song also received around eight thousand spins.
The single has proven one of Zimmerman's most successful to date, with the track having already been certified Platinum. In addition to this, ‘Fall in Love’ was recently confirmed as one of top ten most streamed country songs of the year.
The news follows Bailey Zimmerman's inclusion on Morgan Wallen's upcoming 2023 world tour, with Zimmerman set to feature alongside Ernest as a regular opening act. HARDY and Parker McCollum will also join for a number of the US and Canada dates.
Many are touting Zimmerman as ‘the next Morgan Wallen’, and with the level of success he's already achieving, it's not hard to see why. The Louisville artist recently spoke to Holler about Wallen's role as a mentor, and outlined the key lessons he's learnt from him so far.
With Bailey Zimmerman confirming that a studio album is on the way in 2023, it seems the artist behind ‘Rock and a Hard Place’ should start getting used to the view from the top of the charts.
