Speaking to Holler ahead of the release of his new album, Earned It, Larry Fleet discussed the status of the previously teased collaborative version of ‘Where I Find God’ featuring Morgan Wallen.

The two artists teamed up to perform Fleet's Gold-certified single a number of times while out on the road together in 2022, with the tour-mates even releasing a live performance video of ‘Where I Find God’ in September last year.

However, when Larry Fleet released his Live Sessions, Vol. 1 project the next month, fans were surprised to see the live duet of ‘Where I Find God’ with Morgan Wallen was not on the tracklist.

Since then, listeners have been clamouring for Larry Fleet and Morgan Wallen to make a joint rendition of ‘Where I Find God’ available. The combination of Fleet's soulful vocals and Wallen's distinctive drawl provides an extra layer of gravitas to the already enchanting track. A studio version featuring both artists would undoubtedly be lapped up by fans.

Now, Larry Fleet has shared with Holler that both artists are keen to release a collaborative version of ‘Where I Find God’. Fleet confirmed, “If it was up to Morgan and me, I’m sure it’d be out by now”.

As to whether fans can expect the duo to put out their own rendition of ’Where I Find God’ in the near future, Larry Fleet has left the door open, musing, “I sure hope so one day”.

Last week, Larry Fleet was unveiled as one of the support acts for Morgan Wallen's highly anticipated show at the UK's O2 Arena in December, with Fleet being joined by Bailey Zimmerman on the bill.

Larry Fleet and Morgan Wallen have worked together on a number of occasions since their 2022 tour, with the ‘Last Night’ hitmaker including a song co-written by Fleet, ‘Man Made A Bar’, on his record-breaking 2023 album, One Thing At A Time.

Fleet is currently gearing up to release his first full-length studio album since 2021's Stack of Records, with the new project, Earned It, due to feature fan-favourites such as ‘Muddy Water’, ‘Layaway’, ‘Try Texas’ and ‘Daddy Don't Drink’.
