Recently, Holler favourite Mr Larry Fleet has been sharing some exclusive cuts with us in the form of his Live from 1979 video series.

Filmed at the Welcome to 1979 Studio, Fleet has brought together a band of friends to record some warm and intimate takes. Whether it be songs from the cutting room floor, favoured covers that are personal to the man himself or perhaps even songs in the working that we could yet hear on future records of his, Fleet delivers each with his welcome drawl and plenty of steel guitar.

'Muddy Water', the latest cut from the sessions, is certainly no exception. A beautifully soulful recording, Fleet's band bless the space with sparse percussion, playful steel and subtle, inviting chorus harmonies.

Watch 'Muddy Water', exclusively premiering today at Holler, below.

Fleet is becoming increasingly known for his grounded and sincere songwriting, 'Muddy Water' undoubtedly a prime example of such personal work.

As Fleet sings of being a kid, skipping stones in the summer and finding your faith while growing up, the warmth and patience that the recording offers makes you feel both emotional while remembering your own childhood and thankful for now.

Larry Fleet's latest video session, a recording of 'Muddy Water', is premiering exclusively today here at Holler. You can watch above.

Larry Fleet's latest album, Stack of Records', is out now via Big Loud.
