Ella Langley has scored her third No. 1 on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, courtesy of her fiery, witty new collaboration with HARDY, ‘Never Met Anyone Like You’.
The track flips the title on its head, with the Alabama native lulling the listener into a false sense of security by lavishing praise on her partner, before delivering a clever sucker-punch, revealing he cheated on her. As a result, the once-loving declaration that she's ‘Never Met Anyone Like You’ transforms into a cutting barb.
‘Never Met Anyone Like You’ racked up a sizeable 1.04 million impressions during the latest tracking period (September 26th to October 2nd), making this Langley's third No. 1 on the chart, after ‘you look like you love me’ and ‘weren't for the wind’.
Completing the Top Five is Cody Johnson's ‘The Fall’, Zach Top's ‘Good Times & Tan Lines’, Lainey WIlson's ‘Somewhere Over Laredo’ and Jelly Roll's ‘Heart of Stone’ at No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 respectively. ‘Heart of Stone’ hit the pinnacle back in August.
The biggest mover this week is Josh Ross’ ‘Hate How You Look‘, which surges 213% to land at a new peak of No. 27, after being forced to settle for No. 79 on the previous frame.
There's only one new entry - Russell Dickerson's ‘Worth Your Wild’, which appears on his celebrated fourth studio album, Famous Back Home, which dropped in August.
