Chris Stapleton has been forced to postpone his three shows this weekend in Lafayette, Houston and Corpus Christi, with each date being rescheduled for mid-November.
The ‘White Horse’ hitmaker shared the news with fans via social media, with Stapleton underlining that there was unfortunately nothing he could do to avoid the trio of postponements.
Stapleton revealed he's been struggling with bronchitis and laryngitis, and that, as a result, his medical team have ordered him to rest his voice for the next few days.
The country megastar wrote, “To all my friends in Corpus Christi, Houston, and Lafayette, I am very sorry to let you all know that I am unable to perform this weekend's shows”.
Chris Stapleton went on to explain, “I have bronchitis and laryngitis, and on doctor's orders am on vocal rest through the weekend in order to heal. I'm grateful for your patience and understanding, and hope to see you all in November”.
He emphasised that all tickets to the original shows will be honoured for the rescheduled dates, with Chris Stapleton now due to perform in Lafayette, Louisiana on November 16.
The ‘Tennessee Whiskey’ singer-songwriter's highly anticipated two Texas tour-stops in Houston and Corpus Christi have been moved to November 17 and 18 respectively.
