Bailey Zimmerman has been named the latest artist to be featured in Apple Music's Up Next program.

The prestigious initiative celebrates emerging talent, and has in the past featured the likes of Ingrid Andress, Parker McCollum and Orville Peck, along with cross-genre stars such as Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, H.E.R., Bad Bunny and more.

As part of Apple Music's Up Next initiative, Zimmerman re-recorded three highlights from his 2022 record-breaking Leave The Light On EP, which was recently certified Gold.

The EP became the biggest country debut EP of all time on Apple Music, which no doubt solidified Zimmerman's status as a prospective Up Next artist.

Zimmerman's revamped versions of ‘Rock and A Hard Place’, ‘Fall In Love’ and ‘Where It Ends’ are all exclusively available on Apple Music, alongside a short film recorded especially for the streaming platform.

In the clip, Bailey Zimmerman takes viewers back to where it all started for him in his hometown of Louisville, Illinois, and even gives a tour of the studio where he recorded Leave The Light On.

Zimmerman then gives a short interview inside Nashville's famous Cross-Eyed Critters Hotel, in which he took a number of label meetings when he first arrived in town.

The rising star also takes viewers on a fun detour revolving around his favourite past-time of golf. In one of a number of amusing moments from the film, Zimmerman professes his love for the game, before promptly duffing his shot and sending the ball flying into a lake ten yards away.

In another hilarious clip, we hear the director gently reprimanding Zimmerman for getting distracted by his ice cream during a take.

Ahead of the Up Next announcement, the ‘Never Leave’ hitmaker expressed how overjoyed he was to be chosen for the program by Apple Music, “I still wake up every day feeling so unbelievably grateful for all the support y’all have shown me since I quit my job to make music two years ago.

To be named an Up Next Artist by Apple is truly a dream come true. God is so good! I'm so thankful for y'all”.

Fans will be excited to see Zimmerman chatting in the film about working on his upcoming album, which is yet to receive an official release date.

His latest single, ‘Get To Gettin’ Gone’, is expected to be the lead single from the eagerly anticipated project.

The Up Next sessions and film arrive hot on the heels of Bailey Zimmerman receiving a slew of nominations at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Zimmerman also made a high-profile appearance towards the end of December on Good Morning America, to perform one of the singles that has been redone for Apple Music, ‘Rock and A Hard Place’.
