It seems that with every day that goes by in the lead-up to the 2023 CMT Awards, the already-sky-high levels of anticipation are taken up another notch.
Today has proven no different, with CMT announcing a blockbuster line-up of presenters for Sunday's ceremony.
A host of big-name country artists will present awards, including Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, HARDY, Dustin Lynch, Jon Pardi, Shania Twain, LeAnn Rimes and Parker McCollum.
They'll be joined by R&B chart-topper, Megan Thee Stallion, who will also be sharing the presenting duties.
Viewers will be curious as to whether this could signal a possible foray into the increasingly popular intersection between R&B and country for Megan.
In addition, a range of TV stars are set to present during Sunday's CMT Awards, such as Madison Bailey, who may well team up with her fellow Outer Banks cast-member, Charles Esten.
Esten, who also played Deacon Claybourne in the hit TV series, Nashville, recently released a new country single, ‘One Good Move’.
Stranger Things’ Noah Schnapp will also be presenting during the 2023 CMT Awards, as will Fire Country's Max Thieriot, True Lies’ Steve Howey and Yellowstone's Ian Bohen and Jen Landon.
Yellowstone continues to capture the powerful meeting-point between TV and country music, with the drama having helped propel a number of artists into the mainstream, including Zach Bryan, Whiskey Myers and more.
Luke Grimes, who plays Kayce Dutton in the series, recently signed to UMG Nashville and recently a couple of widely celebrated singles, ‘No Horse To Ride’ and ‘Oh Ohio’.
As part of the announcement, CMT also revealed that Gary Clark Jr. would be joining the line-up of performers.
He'll be leading a special tribute to the legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan during the ceremony, which is due to take place on Sunday, April 2.
