Zach Bryan launches the international leg of his 2026 With Heaven On Tour on Wednesday 27th May in San Sebastian, Spain, at the Donostia Arena. After a mammoth 3 hour show in Cleveland, OH, Bryan is heading over to Europe with support from Ben Howard and Keenan O’Meara. The Donostia Arena is also known as the Plaza de Toros de Illumbe or Illumbe Bullring, and holds just under 11,000 spectators.
It's a touching full-circle moment for Bryan and his wife, Samantha, who got married in San Sebastian last New Year's Eve. His shows are always intense and visceral, but we imagine the fact that he'll be returning to a place with such special memories will make Bryan's With Heaven On Tour kick-off even more emotionally charged.
Bryan’s setlist for his shows have held some variety across his most recent shows in North America. His fan favourites like ‘Something In The Orange', ‘Pink Skies’ and of course, the raucous encore, ‘Revival’, are all certain to make an appearance. He has, however, played around with some of the second and third tier songs like ‘American Nights’ and ‘Plastic Cigarette’. It’s hit and miss as to whether he’ll play those.
His Cleveland, OH show was an extended three hour performance where he debuted an array of new tour songs. Fans at that show were fortunate enough to hear the first plays of ‘Madeline’, ‘Drowning’, ‘Crooked Teeth’ and a few others.
He also played a live cover of ‘Atlantic City’ by Bruce Springsteen - a musician (and friend) who Bryan has teamed up with on-stage a number of times, as well as collaborating with for ‘Sandpaper’ from his stellar 2024 album, The Great American Bar Scene. Last time Bryan was in San Sebastian, the two artists caught up backstage. There were some rumblings of another link-up this time around, but alas, Bruce has a couple of Stateside shows on the books this week, so he's not in Spain.
Throughout his North American tour-stops, Bryan’s With Heaven On Tour merchandise has been a real hit with fans. For his first European stop in Spain, fans can likely expect show and Europe specific items that won’t have been available in The States. There is usually an early merch truck available outside of the arena and this is likely to be available from 2pm, however, there has been no confirmation of this as of yet. The Donostia Arena does have high capacity to kit out all of its spectators in merch from inside the arena, with official tables set up throughout the concourse immediately after security screening. Floor ticket-holders will likely have their own, smaller stand near the main ground floor entrance tunnel.
The European and UK shows are set to be slightly smaller than his North America tour stops, so traffic and road closures aren’t expected to be as disruptive. There will be restricted access on Paseo de Miramon that will start to be enforced a few hours before the show and pedestrian exit will be largely prioritised at the end of the show, with temporary road closures directly around the arena immediately after curfew. Be aware that San Sebastian enforces a strict Low-Emission Zone (ZBE) and will either restrict or fine vehicles that do not meet the Euro emissions standards or have not been pre-registered online, so double check this if you are road-tripping in.
Those looking to ride-share are advised to walk a short distance away from the arena towards the Amara neighbourhood if safe to do so, as this will significantly reduce the surcharge and the time spent in standstill traffic. The local council will also schedule enhanced DBUS services to move crowds efficiently between the arena and the city centre.
The Donostia Arena operates a strict bag policy, whereby bags must be smaller than 21cm x 30cm.
There are still a few tickets left for Zach Bryan’s opening night of his European leg of his With Heaven On Top Tour. His last show in Cleveland was one hell of a night and has left fans desperately wanting more. If you can, grab yourself a last minute ticket and sing along to Bryan's arsenal of rousing, folk-tinged country anthems.
