Zach Bryan has recruited The Bends for the latest instalment of his much-loved Belting Bronco video series, in which he drives artists around in the back of his old Ford while they perform.
In making an appearance during Bryan's fan-favourite series, The Bends follow in the footsteps of artists such as Charles Wesley Godwin, Noeline Hofmann, J.R. Carroll and many more.
In the new clip, The Bends, who hail from Louisiana and lean more towards the indie-rock scene than traditional country, deliver a rousing rendition of their popular track, ‘Makeup’.
Bryan is currently in the middle of his expansive 2026 With Heaven On Tour, with the ‘Something in the Orange’ singer-songwriter enjoying some time off ahead of his European leg.
Over the years, the Oklahoma native has established himself as an alt-country tastemaker of sorts, with his Belting Bronco video series offering him a unique and undoubtedly eye-catching platform to showcase artists he's been impressed by lately.
For instance, when Hofmann featured in Episode 7 of Belting Bronco back in 2024, it was the first time many fans and commentators had heard of the fast-emerging Canadian. From that initial springboard, Hofmann has cemented herself as one of the most exciting new voices in the classic country and Americana space today. Given Bryan's track record, we're excited to see what's next from The Bends.
