Alas, Morgan Wallen's record-breaking, star-studded, continent-hopping One Night At A Time world tour has come to an end, with the Sneedville hitmaker delivering his final performance as part of the sprawling run this past weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As electrifying and spell-binding as Morgan's shows have been, there's been one particular aspect of his concerts that have unexpectedly blossomed into events in themselves - his walk outs.

Although we got the occasional setlist deviation, such as the surprise inclusion of ‘Love Somebody’ for the first time in Sweden, or the addition of home-town fan-favourites, ‘Talkin’ Tennessee’ and ’Quittin’ Time’ in Knoxville, often, the main talking point from show-to-show was instead who joined Morgan for his pre-show ‘Elvis Walk’.

There have been A-listers aplenty, with Morgan Wallen bringing out the likes of Tom Brady, Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Mike Tyson, Peyton Manning, Moneybagg Yo, Brooks & Dunn, Theo Von and even the Tennessee Volunteers baseball team along the way.

Social media has become awash with videos of fans recreating the ‘Thought You Should Know’ singer-songwriter's much-loved mannerisms, hat adjustments and dance-moves, with Wedding Walk Outs, Graduation Walk Outs, Bachelorette Walk Outs and Teacher Walk Outs all now a thing in the wild and wacky world of TikTok.

However, as the adage goes: ‘Often imitated, never duplicated’. Nobody quite does it like the man himself, so in honour of the One Night At A Time run being crowned the highest-selling country tour in history, we've decided to comb through videos of his 80-plus shows, and curate Holler's ten most iconic Morgan Wallen walk outs (along with a bonus, ERNEST-led honourable mention at the end).

10. Moneybagg Yo in Minneapolis

For the majority of Morgan Wallen's One Night At A Time tour, his fiery, genre-blending Lil Durk collaboration, ‘Broadway Girls’, has served as the sole soundtrack for his walk outs. The rattling hi-hats and seismic 808s combine with Morgan's snarling delivery and Durk's Auto-Tune-drenched vocals to create the perfect hype-builder, ensuring the crowd's anticipation is through the roof for the start of the show.

However, in late June 2024, at Morgan Wallen's Minneapolis tour-stop, after doing part of his walk out to the tune of ‘Broadway Girls’, the music suddenly switched up, segueing into his newly released Moneybagg Yo collaboration, ‘WHISKEY WHISKEY’. The trap-infused vibe aligns seamlessly with Lil Durk's ‘Broadway Girls’, with Moneybagg Yo even popping up during the Minneapolis walk out to give his blessing. Every great ‘Elvis Walk’ relies on strong chemistry between Morgan and the special guests, and rest assured he and Moneybagg have that in spades.

9. All-White for BST Hyde Park

The lustre of this walk out doesn't arise from any particular guest or star appearance - it comes from its role as the launchpad for a truly momentous show on the tour. Marking the biggest country show of its kind in the UK, Morgan Wallen's headlining performance at London's 2024 BST Hyde Park festival was one of the most keenly awaited sets of the year for country fans across The Pond.

A show of this stature requires an outfit to match, and Morgan Wallen certainly delivered, with the ‘You Proof’ crooner eschewing his usual cargo pants and long-sleeve tee in favour of a daring all-white ensemble. There's nobody with him for the walk out, but that doesn't matter, as Morgan is visibly enthused by the prospect of the colossal UK show throughout, feeding off the electricity fizzling through the crowd.

8. Hulk Hogan and Baker Mayfield in Tampa

One of the many all-star pairings in this list, during the pre-show for this rearranged Tampa, Florida concert, Morgan Wallen teased the audience by beginning the walk out alongside local hero, Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback, Baker Mayfield.

This would've been enough to satisfy the audience, but Morgan Wallen had another surprise up his sleeve. Partway through, a figure donning a red bandana moves into shot. When Morgan spots him, he stops in his tracks and a broad grin spreads across his face. Of course, who else would it be but wrestling veteran, Hulk Hogan.

7. Pat McAfee and Tyrese Haliburton in Indianapolis

Morgan Wallen has always been vocal about his love of sports, and this is made all the more apparent from the plethora of NFL and NBA stars he chose to bring along for his walk outs. During his Indianapolis show in April 2024, Morgan was joined by sports analyst, Pat McAfee, and Indiana Pacers basketball player, Tyrese Haliburton.

Haliburton brought a calming, laid-back ambience to the walk out, while McAfee was full of adrenaline. His excitement occasionally spilled over as he - somewhat hilariously - couldn't stop himself from giving a stunned Morgan a massive shove, with Pat McAfee looking as though he was raring to hit the Lucas Oil Stadium stage himself.

6. Mike Tyson and Tom Brady in Las Vegas

Out of this impressive roster of top-tier acts and sports stars, it arguably doesn't get any bigger than this. In Las Vegas in August 2024, the Jumbotron flickered to life to show Morgan Wallen riding a backstage golf buggy to meet his walk out guests. Waiting for him was Mike Tyson and Tom Brady, with each member of this unthinkable trifecta looking as bemused as one another that they were hanging out like this. Usually, they say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, but this Hollywood-worthy walk out spread like wildfire across socials following Morgan's set.

5. Theo Von and DeAndre Hopkins in Nashville

Theo Von and Morgan Wallen have been good buddies for a long time, with the Louisiana comedian recalling on his This Past Weekend podcast how he used to train with Morgan on the streets of Nashville years ago - something that would be impossible now, given his status as one of the most famous country artists on the planet.

Theo's playful sense of humour was on full display during Morgan Wallen's blockbuster Nissan Stadium show, as he bounced and twirled and air-baseball-batted behind Morgan, with former Tennessee Titans figurehead and new Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins, matching Theo and Morgan's energy throughout. At the time, Hopkins was a home-state legend, but his October move to reigning Super Bowl Champions, the Chiefs, gives this walk out a bittersweet tint.

4. Brooks & Dunn in Kansas City

Speaking of Kansas City, this link-up between Morgan Wallen and one of the biggest country duos ever, Brooks & Dunn, gave the Arrowhead Stadium a collective set of goosebumps when they emerged in the background of the Jumbotron. Brooks & Dunn would later join up with Morgan Wallen to lead a crowd-wide sing-a-long of ‘Neon Moon’, which the trio have revamped for their new Reboot II project.

Ronnie Dunn's amusingly jovial cry of ‘I had some help!’ before meeting Morgan Wallen for the walk out kicks things off with a bang, with Ronnie and Kix Brooks later confessing on Theo Von's podcast that the weren't quite sure what to do behind Morgan as he danced and gestured in front of the camera. Ronnie quipped, “Am I supposed to walk here and be cool? Am I supposed to be rubbing your shoulders?”

Thankfully, he didn't opt for the latter, although Morgan Wallen's reaction would've made for great entertainment. The other big talking-point from this particular walk out was the rare appearance of another surprise guest - Morgan's hair.

It was the first time many fans had seen him without his trademark ball-cap since he shaved his mullet off in August 2023. But for those who prefer his now-signature trucker-adorned style, don't fret - he reached for his trusty hat before taking the stage.

3. Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones in Kansas City

Completing the unintentionally Kansas-themed segment of this list is a pop-up from three leaders of the Chiefs’ 2024 Super Bowl-winning pack, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones and Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes is known to be a big Morgan Wallen fan, attending his BST Hyde Park show in July, but Kelce's emergence was perhaps the biggest surprise, given how a number of commentators often try and pit Taylor Swift and Morgan against one another.

We loved this move, though, with Travis Kelce jamming out behind the ‘Man Made a Bar’ chart-topper while wearing a classic ‘We're Beer For You’ t-shirt. Iconic in every sense.

2. Cigars and His Band for the Farewell Show in Charlotte

Given all the accolades it had accumulated and the fact that it had been rolling on for two years, the final show of Morgan Wallen's One Night At A Time tour in North Carolina warranted something special. Who would Morgan bring along? A colossal name, perhaps? Maybe he'd take his son, Indie, for another walk out to give it a familial sheen?

Morgan Wallen gave us something even better, bringing out the oft-overshadowed band that had been on the One Night At A Time journey with him from Day One. Accentuating the endearing sense of camaraderie was their choice to all brandish cigars, in honour of the Tennessee Volunteers’ victory over Alabama Crimson Tide the previous night. Which leads us neatly onto our top walk out pick...

1. Peyton Manning and The Tennessee Vols at Neyland Stadium

We've cheated a little bit here, as we've conflated the two walk outs for Morgan Wallen's spectacular Neyland Stadium shows in his home-town. The double-header was peppered with heartwarming touches, from the addition of Tennessee-themed songs into the setlist to the on-stage introduction of guest acts such as Miranda Lambert, Eric Church and Darius Rucker. The pre-show ‘Elvis Walks’ ensured each concert got off to an incredible, Tennessee orange-tinted start, with the first night featuring the Volunteers baseball team holding their 2024 National Championship trophy aloft, while each member wore some form of Morgan Wallen x Vols merchandise created specifically for this long-awaited occasion.

On the second night, Morgan was joined by a quartet of Tennessee football stars, Josh Heupel, Nico Iamaleava, Bru McCoy and Peyton Manning, with Peyton dressed head-to-toe in a Volunteers kit - including his helmet from the famous 1997 season. The message was clear throughout - for all his global domination and genre-blurring, Morgan Wallen is and always will be “That Boy from East Tennessee”.

And an honourable mention...

It felt rude to not offer a tip of the cap to two of Morgan Wallen's best buddies and frequent collaborators, ERNEST and HARDY, for their mock rendition of Morgan's walk out at Fenway Park. With HARDY spurring him on, ERN adopts all the idiosyncrasies and habits of his ‘Flower Shops’ duet partner, right down to the heel taps, the hat tilts and the meticulous dap up, before the camera turns to his friends in stitches.

Although not quite on the hilarity level of ERNEST's viral, expertly-recovered stage-fall in Missouri in 2023, this faux walk out cements his position as country music's No. 1 joker - while simultaneously being one of the genre's premier songsmiths.
