He may have only just put out new music, but Morgan Wallen's 2021 double-album, Dangerous, continues to rack up the accolades. This week, the mammoth 30-song project became the first ever album to spend 100 weeks in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.
The unprecedented feat highlights once again the Sneedville native's continued dominance, not only within country music, but across the all-genre charts too.
The album spawned a slew of hits for Wallen, including the right-person-wrong-time love story of ‘More Than My Hometown’ and the beach-cowboy ballad, ‘Sand In My Boots’.
In early December, Morgan Wallen released three brand new tracks, ‘One Night At A Time’, ‘Days That End In Why’ and ‘Tennessee Fan’. Perhaps unsurprisingly at this point, after dropping the new songs, Wallen became the first artist in history to simultaneously take the Top 3 positions on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.
The three-pack was put out in celebration of Wallen's upcoming 2023 world tour, which will take him across the US and Canada, as well as further afield to Australia and New Zealand.
The tour will feature a star-studded supporting cast that includes Bailey Zimmerman, Ernest, HARDY and Parker McCollum.
