The reigning Female Artist of the Year clinched the title for a second consecutive year. It was one of six nominations she received at this years awards ceremony as her cross-over smash hit ‘The Bones’ was also nominated in several categories.

The first ever recipient of this prize was Bonnie Owens back in 1966 and the artist to have won it the most times is Miranda Lambert.
