Holler is excited to partner with our friends at Taylor Guitars to find the first ever winner of our inaugural Holler Songwriter Competition.
Are you a budding songwriter in search of that first big break? Or a inspired artist in search of the right opportunity for people to hear your sound? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you.
The winner will receive a brand spanking new Taylor 214ce guitar, as well as a spotlighting New Artist of the Week Feature article on the Holler website and coverage across Holler's social media channels!

Here are the terms and conditions:
The Holler Songwriter Competition is open to participants based in the UK and USA only.
The video must be an acoustic performance of an original song. Your song must be your own, written and composed by yourself. We will not accept a cover of an existing song, we will also not accept links to already published videos on YouTube.
Introduce the video by saying: “My name is____, and this is my submission to Holler’s Songwriter Competition” along with the name of the song and any meaning behind the lyrics or backstory.
If you already have an agent or manager, it would be worthwhile to put us in touch to avoid any rights infringement. To enter and submit your video, fill in the entry form above.
By uploading your song to the competition, you agree that this is an original song and that you hold all the rights to the music and the video.
By uploading, you grant Holler a non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence for one (1) year to use and publish the video on our website and YouTube channel for the competition and the promotion of further competitions.
Submissions to the competition will open on Friday, July 28 at midnight CT / 8am BST, and will close on Thursday, August 10 at midnight CT / 8am BST.
The Holler editorial team will review all submissions and select which videos advance to the finals. Holler will upload all successful submissions to our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@hollercountry) the following day (Friday, August 11), where the public can vote for the favourite by ‘liking’ (clicking the thumbs up icon) the video.(NOTE: dislikes will not be counted).
The participants can generate support for their submissions by sharing on social media and motivating their followers to vote for them. Voting closes at midnight CT / 8am BST on Thursday, August 17, and the winner will be announced at 12 midday BST on the same day.
