2024 People's Choice Awards: Date, Performers & Nominees

The 2024 People's Choice Awards are gearing up for another exciting year, with the annual show set to take place live in Santa Monica, California on February 18.

Hosted by celebrated actor Simu Liu, who earned a nomination for Movie Performance of The Year nominee for his role in Barbie, the ceremony will honor the biggest films, TV shows, musicians and pop culture stars from the last year.

As you would expect, some of the format's biggest stars nabbed nods for the Male and Female Country Artist of the Year, both of which are new expanded categories for the show.

Among the country-specific categories, Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, HARDY, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen and alt-country juggernaut Zach Bryan represent the men.

Bryan also nabbed a nod for Collaboration of the Year alongside Kacey Musgraves for their chart-topping hit, 'I Remember Everything'.

Meanwhile, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Megan Moroney, Shania Twain and Lainey Wilson earned mentions for female.

Interestingly, though, a handful of those names, along with other country artists, found their way into the all-genre categories for 2024, too.

Wallen and Combs can both be found in the Male Artist of the Year nominees, as well as Lainey Wilson whose name is among those contending for Female Artist of the Year.

Elsewhere, country-rap maverick Jelly Roll and folk sensation Noah Kahan are in the running for New Artist of the Year, and two country groups will be vying for Group/Duo of the Year: Old Dominion and Dan + Shay.

Combs and Wallen each earned three additional nominees in the same categories, including for Song, Album and Concert Tour of the Year.

Voting for all categories is open through January 19.

The winners for all categories will be unveiled on Sunday, February 18 as the People's Choice Awards take over the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The show will broadcast live across NBC, Peacock and E!.
