Zach Bryan secured his first ever Billboard Music Awards during this year's Las Vegas ceremony, with the ‘I Remember Everything’ crooner taking home the coveted gongs for Top New Artist, Top Rock Artist, Top Rock Song and Top Rock Album.
It's certainly interesting that the Oklahoma native's acclaimed 2022 project, American Heartbreak, and his hit single, ‘Something in the Orange’, were entered into the ‘Rock’ categories, given the fact that Zach Bryan is generally considered ‘Country’ or ‘Americana’.
Nonetheless, few would question the fact that both American Heartbreak and ‘Something in the Orange’ deserve to be recognised in some shape or form, given how they remain two of the most widely acclaimed country releases of the past few years.
Although not in attendance, Zach Bryan will undoubtedly be celebrating his four triumphs at the prestigious ceremony, after the chart-topping singer-songwriter walked away from the 2023 CMA Awards empty-handed, with many commentators suggesting Zach should have returned from Nashville with the New Artist of the Year gong.
Given how well Zach Bryan's self-titled 2023 album has been received, we expect the ‘Boys Of Faith’ songsmith to enjoy another hugely successful 2024 Billboard Music Awards, with country music excitingly dominating this year's ceremony.
Morgan Wallen earned more accolades than any other artist during the ceremony, with the ‘Last Night’ hitmaker receiving a staggering 11 2023 Billboard Music Awards.
Elsewhere during the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, the Sneedville megastar delivered an enchanting rendition of his One Thing At A Time stand-out, ‘98 Braves’, from Atlanta.
