Zach Bryan has shared a brand new unreleased song snippet to X (formerly Twitter), with the ‘Something in the Orange’ singer-songwriter crooning tenderly, “If you got the time, I got the quarter” over a gentle, stripped-back instrumental.
The untitled clip opens with an easygoing guitar coupled with Zach's trademark harmonica, before the Oklahoma native paints a vivid, warm picture of a local bar scene.
Zach Bryan continues to tease new music following the release of his celebrated September EP, Boys Of Faith. The clips Zach has been sharing of late seem to signify a slight shift back towards the introspective alt-country sound that pervaded his 2023 self-titled album, as opposed to the noticeably folkier aesthetic of Boys Of Faith.
It's not clear when - or even if - Zach Bryan plans on dropping this newly shared track, but judging from the plethora of comments praising the unreleased snippet, it's safe to say fans are clamouring for it to be made available as soon as possible.
Earlier in the month, Zach Bryan was crowned the Top New Artist of the Year during the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, with the ‘Deep Satin’ singer-songwriter also taking home the gongs for Top Rock Artist, Top Rock Song and Top Rock Album.
Additionally, this week, Billboard shared their year-end rankings, with Zach's now-iconic hit, ’Something in the Orange’, appearing at No. 3 on the Hot Country Songs list, behind Luke Combs’ ‘Fast Car’ (No. 2) and Morgan Wallen's ‘Last Night’ (No. 1).
