During his Eugene, Oregon show this past weekend, Zach Bryan shared a heartwarming message with his fans, letting them know that he wants them to feel accepted and loved.

Bryan has always made a point of ensuring his listeners know that, regardless of where they come from, who they are or how they live, there's a place for them in his fanbase.

In-between songs at Autzen Stadium, the ‘Dawns’ singer-songwriter reflected, “Whoever you are and whoever you came with, I hope you know we accept you and we love you here”.

While he didn't offer any specifics, fans from a variety of different backgrounds have taken to the comments to express how moved they were by the Oklahoma native's sentiment.

It echoes a message that permeates Bryan's expansive discography, but one that is arguably best summed up in ‘Come As You Are’, which appears on his 2020 project, Elizabeth.

On that much-loved track, Bryan gently croons, “Come as you are, however broken / And we will see if we can make you whole again / Come as you are, with your heart wide open / The bridges that you've burned, they are still there, just floatin'”.

It's a message of acceptance and welcoming anyone regardless of how ‘broken’ or far gone they might think they are, a notion that is ultimately rooted in the Bible and Bryan's faith, but one that does not seek to twist any words and use them to divide or shame listeners that don't follow a traditional ‘Christian’ lifestyle.

Whether or not Bryan intended this Oregon message to be addressed to these listeners specifically, based on the comments, it's clear that his words struck a chord with fans that have perhaps felt somewhat unwelcome or judged at other country concerts.

Especially given the negative headlines that have enshrouded Bryan lately, it's refreshing to see the ‘Sweet DeAnn’ hitmaker using his platform to spread a message of positivity.

Next up, Bryan heads to San Diego, California for a double-header at Snapdragon Stadium, with fans counting down the days until his new EP, Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs. Elsewhere during his Eugene, Oregon set, Bryan performed the recently teased ‘Walk Backwards’, hinting that the EP is on the horizon.
