Zach Bryan has shared a number of shots and clips from a recent studio session with Noah Kahan, including a tantalising snippet of a new unreleased collaboration.
In the teaser, which Zach Bryan posted to his Instagram stories on Thursday (September 14) evening, Noah Kahan appears to croon the lovelorn lyrics, “Those backyard lights don't shine as bright without your face / At Sarah's Place”.
It's not the first time the two artists have teamed up, with Noah Kahan joining Zach Bryan for a momentous rendition of ’Revival’ during the latter's headlining set at Hinterland Music Festival 2023.
Endearingly, Noah Kahan and Zach Bryan share a strong sense of mutual appreciation. Before sharing the unreleased song snippet, Zach prasied Noah as the “hardest working man in music”.
Despite having just released his Billboard 200-topping self-titled album, Zach Bryan seems to already be hard at work on new music. He teased a folk-leaning track earlier in the week, and given the fact that folk pioneers, The Lumineers, appeared on his 2023 record, it seems the ‘Something in the Orange’ hitmaker is venturing deeper into this genre.
When he releases his hotly anticipated duet with Noah Kahan, who has become known to his fanbase as ‘Folk Malone’ following his celebrated collaboration with Post Malone, this would seemingly consolidate Zach's shift towards the folkier outer edges of country music.
