Zach Bryan has taken to his socials to confirm his brand new album, The Great American Bar Scene, will be arriving on Thursday, July 4th, with the ‘Something in the Orange’ hitmaker also confirming he'll be previewing selected tracks in 23 bars across the US.

In a surprise message shared to his Instagram page, Zach Bryan has offered fans an insight into the rollout of the highly anticipated project, “My intent with all this is to give everyone an early glimpse of this album, but more importantly this is in the spirit of bringing people together for a memorable moment. I have chosen 23 bars across the country that embody the spirit of American culture. These bars will play select cuts from ‘The Great American Bar Scene’ starting June 24th”.

Zach then went on to underline, “As much as I'd kill to play all these timeless bars, it won't be possible. I will be visiting a few off the list to have a drink with ya'll”, before dropping the news we've all been waiting for, revealing when the new project will arrive in full, “‘The Great American Bar Scene’ will be released on July 4th”.

Interestingly, this is the same release date as the new song from fellow country megastar, Morgan Wallen, ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’, and it's unclear whether this was intentional from Zach.

In the second slide of his Instagram carousel, the Oklahoma singer-songwriter has shared what seems to be the album artwork, featuring four sketched snapshots of bar scenes against a red background. It follows in a similar vein to the covers of the two singles he's released so far, ‘Pink Skies’ and ‘Purple Gas’ with Noeline Hofmann.

Fans are hoping the new album will include unreleased songs that Zach Bryan has been teasing via socials, such as the title-track, which he's been performing as part of his recent setlists, in addition to ‘Sandpaper’, ‘28’, ‘Like Ida’ and ‘Oak Island’.

It's possible these unreleased fan-favourites will be played as part of the previews, which are set to take place at sites such as Brillobox in Pittsburgh, PA, Egan & Sons in Montclair, NJ, Barnacle Bill's in Rumson, NJ and Fox & Locke in Franklin, TN.
