Ahead of her spellbinding headlining performance at C2C Festival 2025, Lainey Wilson expanded her rapidly-growing collection of accolades and awards, with the ‘Wildflowers and Wild Horses’ hitmaker receiving two prestigious UK Country awards.

The Louisiana native accepted the gongs for the most No. 1 singles on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, in honour of ‘Hang Tight Honey’ and ‘4X4XU’ both hitting the peak in 2024.

Lainey Wilson shared the accolade with Jordan Davis, who also notched two chart-toppers last year, ‘I Ain't Sayin’ and ‘Tucson Too Late’. Davis took home the award for most weeks at No. 1, with his infectious, uptempo earworm, ‘I Ain't Sayin’, securing a whopping nine weeks at the pinnacle of the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart.

As well as accepting the joint award for most No. 1 singles on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart in 2024, Lainey Wilson was given the coveted gong for the No. 1 country album in the UK.

Lainey Wilson's widely lauded 2024 album, Whirlwind, was crowned The Official Country Artists Album Chart No. 1. The project has been met with a fervent response in both the US and UK since its arrival in August, with Whirlwind spawning fan-favourites such as ‘Hang Tight Honey’, ‘Country's Cool Again’ and ‘4X4XU’.

In an official statement, Lainey Wilson heartwarmingly expressed her gratitude to the support her loyal UK listeners have given her over the years, “Y'all raised me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making me feel welcome from the beginning”.

After being presented with these two UK country awards at C2C Festival 2025 at London's O2 Arena, Lainey Wilson stormed onto the stage for a blistering headline performance.

Over the course of the rip-roaring set, Lainey Wilson treated the packed-out O2 crowd to energising renditions of beloved anthems such as ‘Dirty Looks’, ‘Heart Like a Truck’, ‘Good Horses’, ‘Ring Finger’, ‘Watermelon Moonshine’, ‘Atta Girl’ and more.
