Viral Sensation Pedal Steel Noah Announces Debut EP

The 16-year-old social media sensation, Noah Faulkner, has captured hearts with his daily videos performing pedal steel covers of classic songs. With the release of his debut EP slated for this spring, Pedal Steel Noah will surely ensnare many more.

Texas Madness is set to arrive on April 1 and will feature two of Faulkner's original songs, alongside some of his beloved covers. Country-tinged renditions of Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart,', The Cure's 'Just Like Heaven' and Tears for Fears' 'Head Over Heels' will all grace the track list.

With the news of his debut, the Austin-based pedal steel prodigy offered a sampling of the upcoming release with 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' and one of the EP's originals, 'Cleopatra'.

“I am very happy and proud to be sharing my music with the world," the artist shared. "I’m so glad [my brother] Nate and I could make this record together and all our friends get to hear it.”

Alongside his 13-year-old brother Nate on bass and their dog Kara, Pedal Steel Noah has become a star on Instagram and beyond with his unique take on songs by a wide array of hitmakers from Devo to George Strait.

Over the last year, Noah has garnered a number of influential supporters, like Johnny Marr of the Smiths, Frank Black of Pixies, Big Thief, Neko Case and others along the way.

Noah, who is on the Autism spectrum, will release his Texas Madness EP in celebration of Autism Acceptance Month.
