Last year was a big one for Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, who embarked on a new musical endeavor: his solo career.

Today, the singer is flexing his artistry once again as he unveils Strong, his newly-announced sophomore solo effort, arriving April 12.

The follow-up release to his self-titled debut, Strong – co-produced by Hubbard alongside Jordan Schmidt – will see the star reflect on life and love across 13 tracks, which include the recently released singles ‘Back Then Right Now’ and ‘Turn.’

Alongside the album’s announcement, Hubbard offers another taste of his forthcoming collection, dropping the drum-fueled ‘Wish You Would.’

Taking the leap towards solo pursuits was no easy feat for Hubbard, who had been one-half of the pop country hitmakers Florida Georgia Line for well over a decade.

“With the help of my wife, a few friends and my team that I had started putting together, I felt encouraged, equipped and supported to make that leap of faith,” he shared in an interview with Holler last year.

“I think once I decided to make an album, there was a little bit more pressure. It was a new dynamic,” he continued. “I'd get together with some of my best friends who could help me craft songs to tell my story. It was something new for me as a songwriter. I'm always trying to write great songs for anybody who wants to record them. I took on a different life as a writer.”

Ultimately, the career move gave Hubbard and his music a new life. “It's been so fun, so life-giving and energizing,” he added.

This year will see more than just new music from Hubbard. Come March, the artist will also open for Kane Brown on his In The Air Tour, joining a roster of star-powered support from the likes of Jon Pardi, Chris Young, Bailey Zimmerman, Cole Swindell, RaeLynn and more.
