West Virginia's charity concert, Healing Appalachia, has announced its impressive 2023 line-up.
Tyler Childers will be taking the stage once again at The State Fair of West Virginia, with the Can I Take My Hounds To Heaven? singer-songwriter having become a regular at the much-loved event.
Ticket-holders will expect to be serenaded with a range of highlights from the Kentucky native's eclectic repertoire, including ‘Lady May’, ‘Angel Band’, ‘All Your'n’ and ‘Follow You To Virgie’, although the alt-country pioneer is known for frequently shuffling and editing his setlist.
Joining Tyler will be country-folk prodigy, Charles Wesley Godwin, with attendees undoubtedly looking forward to seeing the ‘Temporary Town’ crooner performing in his home-state.
Also set to appear at Healing Appalachia 2023 is Amythyst Kiah, 49 Winchester, Gov't Mule, Tommy Prine, William Matheny, Ritch Henderson, Jeremy Short, Drayton Farley, Marcus King, Kelsey Waldon, Emily Nenni and more.
Healing Appalachia is put together annually as a means of raising funds for Hope in the Hills, a charitable organisation that seeks to help those in the region struggling with opioid addiction.
The 2022 event featured memorable sets from the likes of Tyler Childers, Galactic, Margo Price, Tommy Prine, Lucero, Arlo McKinley, The Vince Herman Band and Buffalo Wabs & The Price Hill Hustle.
