Just weeks after securing his first US Country Radio No. 1 single with ’Wind Up Missin’ You’, Tucker Wetmore's viral anthem has leapt to the pinnacle of the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart.
For the ranking dated from January 17th - 23rd, ‘Wind Up Missin’ You’ scored a sizeable tally of 979,563 impressions, marking a staggering 96% increase compared to last week.
This feat is made all the more impressive when considering the fact that ‘Wind Up Missin’ You’ was only the second song Tucker Wetmore released, following ‘Wine Into Whiskey’. This UK Country Radio Airplay Chart success ensures the momentum remains high ahead of his debut shows across The Pond in March for C2C Festival 2025.
Completing the Top Five on this week's UK Country Radio Airplay Chart listing is Drew Baldridge's ’Tough People’, Bailey Zimmerman's ’Holy Smokes’, Blake Shelton's ‘Texas’ and Jordan Davis’ ‘I Ain't Sayin’ at No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 respectively.
The latter attained a record-breaking eighth nonconsecutive frame at No. 1 last week, with Jordan Davis’ formidable run being broken by Tucker Wetmore's rose-tinted smash.
The biggest mover on this week's chart was Cameron Whitcomb's wildly popular single, ‘Medusa’, which soared by 882% to propel the introspective, heartbroken ode from No. 172 to No. 48. This tracking period also saw new entries from Hannah White's ‘Rosa’, Ghost Hounds’ ‘First Last Time’, Niko Moon's ’Money Can't Buy’, Margo Cilker's ’Lowland Trail’, Jason Isbell's ’Bury Me’, Dwight Yoakam's ‘Wide Open Heart’, Jon Pardi's ‘Honkytonk Hollywood’ and Gareth's ‘Last Thing I Do’.
