Tucker Wetmore has taken to TikTok to tease another new song, ‘What Would You Do’, which follows hot on the heels of the fast-emerging artist's debut release, ‘Wine Into Whiskey’.

The newly shared clip continues in the similar genre-fusing style of ‘Wine Into Whiskey’, with Tucker's sleek, charismatic vocals gliding across a sultry, brooding instrumental.

‘What Would You Do’ pivots around the story of a protagonist that finds his girlfriend cheating on him, with Tucker Wetmore turning the tables on his partner and asking her how she would respond if she found him doing the same thing.

In the TikTok video, Tucker Wetmore admits he's not supposed to be sharing this unreleased snippet, before underlining that he couldn't contain his excitement and therefore decided to let fans in on the preview regardless. He again showcases his appreciation for clever wordplay, crooning, “I caught you red-handed / Red lips on some Tennessee that ain't mine / I should call it off right where we're standing / Cause girl you're wasted and I don't wanna waste my time”.

The infectious song builds in intensity as Tucker Wetmore launches into the stormy, simmering hook, with his distinctive drawl punctuated by the emphatic 808, Hip Hop-inspired beat (“Would you love you would you leave you out to dry? / Would you lie and say that running don't cross your mind? / Tell me baby / Would you drive you crazy? / What would you do? / What would you do to you?”).

Tucker is quickly cementing his status as one of the future stars of country music, with the up-and-coming artist earning a rapidly burgeoning following through his viral TikTok snippets.

‘Wine Into Whiskey’ was one of the first tracks to spread like wildfire across social media, with listeners now hoping both ‘What Would You Do’ and another unreleased fan-favourite, ‘Wind Up Missing You’, are made available in the coming weeks.

Tucker Wetmore is joining up with his fellow country riser, Kameron Marlowe, on his 2024 Strangers tour throughout the Spring, with fans keeping their eyes peeled for news of Tucker's debut full-length album, which is expected to arrive later in the year.
