During his packed-out set at UMG Nashville's SkyDeck takeover, Tucker Wetmore treated the crowd to a live rendition of a brand new unreleased track, ‘Silverado Blue’.
The sinuous, truck-themed track is pervaded by Tucker's relatable lyricism and his ear for a killer melody. Although he performed the song alongside an acoustic guitar, ‘Silverado Blue’ will surely be even more infectious with the addition of the ‘Wine Into Whiskey’ singer-songwriter's signature drums and Hip Hop-leaning sonics.
With Tucker Wetmore releasing his contribution to the Twisters soundtrack, ‘Already Had It‘, this week, it seems we'll have to wait a little longer before we get to hear the studio version of ‘Silverado Blue’, which is expected to feature on Tucker's debut album.
Even so, fans have already started calling for the country prodigy to drop the track as soon as possible, with Tucker Wetmore continuing to establish himself as the genre's next-big-thing.
In addition to his infectious performance of ‘Already Had It’, the Washington hitmaker serenaded the SkyDeck audience with energising renditions of his three viral singles, ‘Wine Into Whiskey’, ‘Wind Up Missin’ You’ and ‘What Would You Do?’
Tucker Wetmore's performance arrived as part of a blockbuster first day at CMA Fest 2024, with attendees able to witness top-tier sets from Thomas Rhett, Dylan Scott, Tyler Hubbard, Dylan Gossett, Emily Ann Roberts, Ashley McBryde and more.
Jelly Roll and Ashley McBryde have been unveiled as the hosts for the CMA Fest TV Special, which will air on Tuesday, June 25 at 8/7c on ABC, and will stream on Hulu the next day. For more information on how to watch the CMA Fest TV Special, head here.
