Megan Moroney, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, and more are set to take the stage at South Florida's iconic music festival, Tortuga.
Tortuga has announced their 2027 lineup - and the headlining acts are bigger than we expected. For the three-day festival running through April 2nd, April 3rd, and April 4th in 2027, we have Florida Georgia Line championing Friday night, Eric Church for Saturday, and Megan Moroney for Sunday.
Which, of course means that Florida's east coast is in for yet another year of good times and tan lines (don't mind the Zach Top reference), as the festival also hosts some of the biggest names in country music as part of its marine conservation awareness efforts. This year's headliners have some solid supporting artists backing them that are sure to match the Fort Lauderdale beach-party feel.
'Boston' hitmaker Stella Lefty will take the stage just before FGL on Friday night, with the evening's non-country act, Hip-Hop/R&B singer and producer Ne-Yo tasked with getting the crowd hyped for the recently reunited country duo.
For Saturday, 'Cuckoo' songster Stephen Wilson Jr. will play before Eric Church himself, with 'Soul Sister' hitmakers, the band Train as the night's non-country act. A supporting act that seems hand-picked specifically for The Chief, for sure, as Wilson Jr.'s discography presents a similar outlaw feel.
Last, but certainly not least, Sunday's lineup will feature 'Brunette' crooner Tucker Wetmore ahead of Megan Moroney, with the iconic Goo Goo Dolls playing just after him. There is something so comforting about the idea of the 90s soft rock band getting the crowd ready for Moroney - with both artists seeming as though they've taken a masterclass in mellow, lovestruck songwriting, Sunday night is sure to be a cool-down after the wild weekend.
A lineup such as this follows the festival's tradition of booking star-studded country headliners, with hip-hop and soft rock acts to flesh out the sounds of each evening.
For Tortuga 2026, we saw a lineup on a similar spectrum. With stars such as Post Malone, Kenny Chesney, and Riley Green as the weekend's headliners, it seems as though the festival has a specific way of picking a blend of modern country with some 2010s-star power as well. Not to mention hip-hop and soft rock acts Ice Cube and The Fray, who also made appearances at the festival.
For the upcoming year, however, the stakes seem a little higher than before. This will be one of the first appearances for recently reunited duo FGL, as Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley embark on their 2027 Festival tour. That obviously means that the first night of Tortuga will begin with a bang - and the other two nights will have to follow up. With headliners such as Church and Moroney, though, we're sure the high-energy that typically surrounds Tortuga will carry through the whole weekend.
Alumni presale for Tortuga 2027 begins Oct. 19 at 10 a.m., with general sale beginning Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. The newly introduced 1-day and 3-day passes will also be available at presale.
