“These Shows Will Be Different Than Anything You’ve Ever Seen or Heard From Us Before”: Eric Church Unveils 2025 ‘Free the Machine’ Tour

Eric Church will embark on a sprawling 2025 tour, in promotion of The Chief's forthcoming Evangeline vs. The Machine studio album, which arrives this Friday (May 2nd).

As part of Church's Free the Machine run of shows, the ‘Hands Of Time’ singer-songwriter will perform across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Massachusetts, New York, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, Utah, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and California.

Eric Church will also deliver one date in Vancouver, Canada, with the ‘Springsteen’ hitmaker set to take the stage at Rogers Arena in British Columbia in November.

We're already counting down the days until the Free the Machine tour gets underway, with the blockbuster run kicking off in September. Although the announcement has been met with widespread fanfare, some have expressed their disappointment that there are no dates yet in Eric Church's home-state of North Carolina. However, given Church's strong ties to the state, particularly after 2024's Concert for Carolina, we imagine a North Carolina show will ultimately be added.

In a video message shared with his loyal Church Choir fanbase, the 2020 CMA Entertainer of the Year winner underlined that fans are in store for a spectacular set.

Church explained, “From front to back, these shows will be different than anything you’ve ever seen or heard from us before. I cannot wait to see you on the road for this tour”.

Prior to launching this Free the Machine tour, Eric Church will perform two highly anticipated shows at London's Royal Albert Hall for the UK's Highways Festival in May, with Church also lined up to deliver a series of Evangeline vs. The Machine album release shows at The Pinnacle in Nashville and Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado.

The Free the Machine run will see Elle King, Charles Wesley Godwin and the Marcus King Band serving as support, with the opener varying depending on the specific show.

Church Choir pre-sale tickets are on-sale exclusively for Premium Church Choir members, with access available from Monday, May 5th at 10am local time. Choir members will be sent emails for more details, with these fans having to login at ericchurch.com or via the official Eric Church app to get their unique presale codes.

The ‘Seated’ tour pre-sale kicks off on Tuesday, May 6th - again, at 10am local time - for non-premium Church Choir members and the general public. To register, fans must sign up for their desired date via Eric Church's official website. Then, a few days later on Friday, May 9th at 10am local time, the general on-sale starts.

The exception is Church's Philadelphia, Pennsylvania tour-stop on September 18th with Elle King, with tickets for this show on-sale from Friday, May 16th at 10am local time.
