It seems like every other week Shaboozey's 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' has broken another record. Now, the viral hit may have officially smashed them all.
The party anthem just secured its 17th week atop the Billboard Hot 100, making 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' the longest reigning solo No. 1 in the history of the mainstream chart. The song surpassed Morgan Wallen's 'Last Night', which only days ago was tied with the Shaboozey smash for the decade's longest running No. 1.
Months ago, the song was officially dubbed the chart's hit of 2024 and has only continued to excel.
The song hasn't just impressed on the charts, though, it is also up for 4 Grammy awards – Song of the Year, Best Country Song, Best Country Solo Performance, as well as Best Remixed Recording for the recent David Guetta remix – with Shaboozey, himself, in the running for Best New Artist at the 67th annual Grammy awards ceremony.
However, before the Grammys get doled out on Feb. 2, 2025, the star will soon be duking it out at his first-ever CMA Awards.
He has received first-time nods for New Artist of the Year, as well as Single of the Year for 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)', the results of which will come to light on Wednesday, Nov. 20, during the 58th Annual CMA Awards ceremony.
