Post Malone has taken to his socials to tease a new song, ‘Missin’ You Like This’, which appears to be the latest unreleased offering from his upcoming debut country album.
The hotly anticipated project, which is yet to be given an official release date, is expected to feature Post Malone's good buddies, Morgan Wallen, Ernest, HARDY and Luke Combs, with Posty sharing a snippet of a collaboration with Luke last month.
The new clip, which accompanies a video taken inside a studio of the sound desk, finds Post Malone crooning ruefully about a long lost love across a stripped-back instrumental.
His vocals carry the ethereal, reverb-drenched effect we have come to know and love through the years, alongside a brooding, simmering guitar and drum pattern.
It's not clear when Post Malone will drop ‘Missin’ You Like This’, and it remains possible that he's just testing the water to see whether fans respond positively to the track or not, before settling on whether to include the ballad on his album.
However, given how the recording already sounds pretty tightly mixed and mastered, we reckon it's a fairly safe bet to assume ‘Missin’ You Like This’ will appear on the tracklist.
With Post Malone teasing his Luke Combs collaboration, ‘I Ain't Got A Guy For That’, almost exactly a month ago, it feels like the rollout for Posty's country project is picking up pace. Although nothing is confirmed in the way of lead singles, we suspect ‘I Ain't Got A Guy For That’ will (hopefully) arrive ahead of the full record.
Either way, fans will be treated to some brand new music from Post Malone one way or another on April 19, when Taylor Swift's eagerly awaited 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, drops, featuring Posty on the opening track, ‘Fortnight’.

I knew for a night that I'd be drinkin' bout you
But it's years gone by and I'm still dreamin' about you
Cross my heart til I die
I swear to God I would've never done what I did
If I knew that I'd be missin' you like this
