Post Malone Teases First Country Song with Luke Combs, ‘I Ain't Got A Guy For That’; When Will He Release It?

Post Malone has shared a snippet of his first ever country song, a brand new collaboration with Luke Combs, seemingly entitled ‘I Ain't Got A Guy For That’, which is expected to be the first original song to feature on Posty's debut country album.

The video clip finds Post Malone vibing to the uptempo track as it reverberates over the speakers, with the bearded crooner playing the air-drums jubilantly while smoking a cigarette.

The infectious, light-hearted song is yet to have a release date, but it's safe to say fans are immediately calling for Posty and Luke Combs to make the song available.

‘I Ain't Got A Guy For That’ seems to be the product of the writing session Post Malone shared with Luke Combs and his frequent co-writer, James McNair, back in November ahead of the CMA Awards, during which Posty delivered an electrifying rendition of his HIXTAPE collaboration with the late Joe Diffie, ‘Pick-Up Man’.

During a Twitch stream last year, Post Malone confirmed his debut country record was in the works, as well as revealing that he had a song stuck in his head that he wrote while in Music City. Judging by the sinuous hook of ‘I Ain't Got A Guy For That’, it looks as though this could've been the track he was referring to.

Although the subject matter of the song is not 100% clear, it feels like Posty and Luke Combs are trading verses about how they have ‘a guy’ that can fix everything - whether it's a burst pipe, a broken-down car and so on. However, when it comes to a relationship, they shrug their shoulders and joke that they ‘don't have a guy for that’.

Post Malone showcases his trademark gravelly, charismatic vocals, which glide seamlessly across the energising, beat-driven instrumental, while Luke Combs’ playful, tongue-in-cheek delivery complements Posty's chorus perfectly. ‘I Ain't Got A Guy For That’ has undoubtedly whetted fans’ appetites ahead of the ‘Circles’ hitmaker's upcoming debut country project, and we're keeping our fingers crossed this blockbuster duo decide to drop the song sooner rather than later.
