Over the past few months, Post Malone has been metaphorically stopping Nashville in its tracks with his blockbuster teasers and momentous collaborations ahead of his hotly anticipated debut country album, F-1Trillion, which arrives on August 16.
This week, though, Post Malone quite literally brought Music City to a standstill, with the ‘I Had Some Help’ hitmaker teaming up with fellow chart-topper Luke Combs on Broadway to record what appears to be the music video for their new duet, ’Guy For That’.
Post Malone and Luke Combs have been teasing a link-up since they were photographed in the studio with James McNair back in November, with Posty then sharing a tantalising snippet of the uptempo ‘Guy For That’ with Luke across his socials in February.
With Luke Combs teasing another clip of the infectious, light-hearted break-up track earlier in July, it feels like the rollout for ‘Guy For That’ is accelerating, especially now that Luke and Posty have been spotted on Broadway filming some new visuals.
As the duo danced atop a platform in front of Nashville Underground and Whiskey Saloon, ‘Guy For That’ was blaring from the speakers, with the packed-out crowd of spectators jostling to get in the background of the forthcoming music video.
Previously, when fans noticed Post Malone and Morgan Wallen filming the video for their record-breaking single, ‘I Had Some Help’, Posty decided to drop the song less than two weeks later. Similarly, the genre-blending maverick didn't keep us waiting too long after he'd captured the visuals for his beer-soaked Blake Shelton collaboration, ‘Pour Me a Drink’, which arrived towards the end of June.
Excitingly, it looks like Luke Combs will also be making a second appearance on Post Malone's new album, F-1Trillion. When the ‘Beautiful Crazy’ singer-songwriter shared a clip of ‘Guy For That’ last week, Post Malone replied on X (formerly Twitter) by revealing, “Okay, FINE...but you like this more than the other one?!?!”
Nothing so far is known about this mysterious second collaboration between Luke Combs and Post Malone - but if ‘Guy For That’ is anything to go by, we're sure it's another earworm.
