Parker McCollum has released his eagerly awaited new single, ‘I Ain't Going Nowhere’.

On the eve of the song's release, McCollum confirmed that his upcoming album will be called ‘Never Enough’.

As part of the announcement, the Texan also revealed the project's artwork and parts of its tracklist.

The lone-star crooner has been teasing a number of unreleased songs across his socials in recent months, and when McCollum announced he'd be dropping a new single on February 17, fans were immediately speculating as to which track they would be getting.

A few days before the release, McCollum confirmed that the new single would be entitled, ‘I Ain't Going Nowhere’.

The Texan then uploaded a snippet of him performing the track during a recent live show to Tik Tok.

The driving, anthemic song follows in the sonic footsteps of the likes of ‘Why Indiana’ and McCollum's recent single, ‘Handle On You’, but with a more heartwarming and less heartbroken theme.

The new single finds McCollum reassuring his wife that, although once upon a time he would have classed himself as a restless, ramblin’ man, he now never wants to leave her side (“I don't want to have to make you miss me / So I ain't going if you ain't with me / All I need is what I see right here / I ain't goin’ nowhere”).

‘I Ain't Going Nowhere’ is the latest in a series of McCollum teasers. Back in December, McCollum posted a snippet of ‘Lessons From An Old Man’, a wistful, philosophical track about a boy who gains a few nuggets of wisdom from his grandpa.

It was an immediate hit with his followers, and fans have been clamouring for it to be made available ever since.

Now that ‘I Ain't Going Nowhere’ has been put out into the world, it's safe to say that expectations are sky-high for McCollum's Gold Chain Cowboy follow-up in May, Never Enough.
