After being temporarily delayed, Morgan Wallen's This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen in the heart of Nashville will officially open its doors tomorrow (Saturday, June 1) at 11am CT.

The news was confirmed via the bar's Instagram page, accompanied by a tantalising clip of the staff completing the final preparations ahead of the keenly anticipated opening.

The ‘Last Night’ hitmaker's bar was initially set to launch on Memorial Day last weekend, with the TC Restaurant Group-backed project then postponing its opening date.

There was speculation that the delay arose as a result of Nashville City Council's decision to reject a proposal for a large sign being added to the side of Morgan Wallen's This Bar, with some council-members speaking out against the country megastar.

However, a spokesperson for TC Restaurant Group later confirmed the adjusted opening date was simply due to some last minute tweaks and alterations being needed to make the experience at This Bar as fulfilling as possible for customers.

The President of TC Restaurant Group, Adam Hesler, has stoked the flames of excitement ahead of the grand unveiling, “Morgan Wallen is one of the most sought after stars in the music industry, and we are thrilled that he has trusted us to deliver a concept that will bring him closer to his fans, hold fast to his roots and enshrine his name among an exclusive group of artists who can claim international stardom with a Lower Broadway destination fans all over the world seek out”.

Given the fact that thousands of country music lovers will be descending on Music City for CMA Fest - and that Morgan Wallen's recent three-night run at the Nissan Stadium contributed to a record number of hotel bookings in Nashville, according to the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp - it's safe to say This Bar will be one of the most popular spots on Lower Broadway throughout the week. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed that the ‘Thought You Should Know’ singer-songwriter makes a surprise appearance soon after its momentous opening.
