Despite all three being well-decorated, chart-topping songwriters, Morgan Wallen, Miranda Lambert and Nicolle Galyon have not worked together very often - but when they do decide to join forces in the writing room, it's safe to say they strike gold.
The trio penned Morgan Wallen's hugely popular, quadruple-Platinum hit, ‘Thought You Should Know’, which serves as an endearing, intricate tribute to the Sneedville artist's mother, featuring on Morgan's record-breaking 2023 album, One Thing At A Time.
It's long been known that Morgan, Miranda and Nicolle wrote another song during the ‘Thought You Should Know’ writing session, with fans clamouring for a sneak peak at the track. Although there's no recording or demo as of yet, we've now uncovered the playful title of that mysterious second song - ‘White Trash With Money’.
Judging by its striking title, the track appears to be a redneck anthem in the style of Miranda's much-loved 2019 song, ‘White Trash’, taken from her lauded Wildcard project.
Now that we have the title, with ‘White Trash With Money’ being an officially registered song on ASCAP, we're keeping our fingers crossed one of the writers decides to drop the song ASAP. With both Morgan and Miranda currently readying new albums, perhaps they'll find a place for this unreleased offering on the tracklist.
Despite not officially announcing his One Thing At A Time follow-up, Morgan Wallen is dropping what appears to be the lead single from the record on July 4th - the viral, long-awaited ‘Lies, Lies, Lies’. Given the ‘Last Night’ hitmaker's penchant for lengthy albums that span at least 30 songs, it certainly feels as though there will be room for ’White Trash With Money’ to potentially make its way onto the new project's tracklist. Ideally, this would be in the form of a Miranda Lambert collaboration, which would mark the first time the two have teamed up in this way.
