Morgan Wallen has picked up six nominations for the 2024 ACM Awards, with the ‘Thinkin’ Bout Me’ hitmaker set to contend for the biggest gong of the night, Entertainer of the Year.
Morgan will undoubtedly be one of the favourites to take home the prestigious accolade at the May 16th, but he'll have to overcome stiff competition from his fellow nominees, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Kane Brown and Jelly Roll.
In addition to Entertainer of the Year, Morgan Wallen has been nominated for Album of the Year in recognition of the record-breaking crossover success enjoyed by his 2023 project, One Thing At A Time. Morgan will be vying for Single of the Year as well, with his streaming behemoth, ‘Last Night’, up for the award.
The ‘Thought You Should Know’ singer-songwriter will be hoping to retain his crown in the Male Artist of the Year category, with Morgan Wallen having won the esteemed trophy at last year's ACM Awards. This year in Frisco, Texas, Morgan will be up against Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton.
Completing Morgan Wallen's 2024 slew of nominations is a nod for Music Event of the Year in honour of his blockbuster collaboration with Eric Church, ‘Man Made A Bar’, with Morgan also a leading candidate for Artist-Songwriter of the Year.
In the latter category, Morgan Wallen will be pitted against his good buddies and frequent collaborators, ERNEST and HARDY, along with Zach Bryan and Chris Stapleton.
