When Morgan Wallen announced his colossal One Night At A Time world tour towards the end of 2022, after the immediate fanfare, some started questioning why there was no show lined up in the Nashville native's home state.

Wallen has answered that question today, as he revealed that he'd be playing a special free show at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena to celebrate the release of his new album, One Thing At A Time.

The free set will take place on the same day as the album's release date - Friday, March 3. One Thing At A Time will feature an array of previously released singles, such as the moody, beat-driven ‘Last Night’, which currently sits atop Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.

Fans will be excited to hear the song performed live, especially after the ‘More Than My Hometown’ hitmaker released an acoustic version of the track as part of his One Record At A Time Sessions.

‘Last Night’ recently soared to the top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Attendees at Wallen's free Bridgestone Arena show will also be keen to hear his fun, retro anthem, ‘Everything I Love’, along with the new album's title-track, which was this week's most added song on Country Radio.

The pop-infused single is now being promoted to US Pop Radio too.

The news of Friday's concert follows Wallen's album preview experience on February 20-22, which offered fans a taste of the new project at Nashville's Marathon Music Works venue.

An endearing video of an elderly fan jamming out to one of the new songs, ‘Thinkin’ Bout Me’, quickly went viral, with Wallen even crowning her his favourite fan ever.

Earlier this week, Morgan Wallen received another CMA Triple Play award, after having penned three No. 1 songs in the space of just twelve months - ‘Wasted On You’, ‘Thought You Should Know’ and ‘You Proof’.

Wallen's frequent collaborators, Ernest and HARDY, also received Triple Play awards at the ceremony, with both artists set to feature on One Thing At A Time.

In his social media video announcing the free Bridgestone Arena show on March 3, Morgan Wallen underlined that there would be a two ticket limit per person.
