'I Had Some Help' reigns again. The instantly successful Morgan Wallen-Post Malone collaboration has officially re-secured the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, having rebounded from last week's No. 2 positioning.
This renewed placement makes 'I Had Some Help' the longest-running No. 1 hit of the year so far, totaling six non-consecutive weeks at the top of the mainstream ranking.
This is neither artists' first time topping such a chart. Throughout his career, Malone has enjoyed 5 other No. 1 hits on the Hot 100, with Wallen having celebrated his first in 2023 with his well-loved 'Last Night.'
Before its official release in early May, ‘I Had Some Help’ had been teased across social media for months, beginning as early as December 2023. Wallen first shared – but soon deleted – a clip of the tune, with Malone delivering one shortly after before a back-and-forth of teasers ensued through much of early 2024.
“This song is one of my favs in a long time," Wallen has noted of the song. "Proud to be on it w u bub!!”
‘I Had Some Help’ is expected to appear on Malone's impending country debut, F-1 Trillion, an album the sees the pop star-turned-country talent recruit even more of the genre's heavy-hitters like Luke Combs, Blake Shelton and Chris Stapleton.
F-1 Trillion will arrive Aug. 16, likely with even more hits in tow.
