Megan Moroney has spoken. She is not dating Riley Green.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the 'Am I Okay?' star finally dished on the dating rumors that had fans in a frenzy earlier this year when the two were spotted vacationing in the same island locale.

Back in January, TikTok sleuths did what they do and tied together various threads from the country stars' respective social media platforms, eventually pinning the two artists in St. Barts at the same time. To fans, that could only mean one thing: Moroney and Green are in a relationship.

While it turns out they were, in fact, on the Caribbean island at the same time, Moroney just shut down the relationship rumors, telling Rolling Stone that the St. Barts meet-up was merely coincidence.

When asked if Green was on the trip, as well, the 'Tennessee Orange' hitmaker replied, “He was individually on his vacation with his friends. St. Barts is a popular place!”

She continued, “It’s one of those things here if you know someone on a small island, you’re like, ‘Oh, shit, you’re here too.’ So it was fun. Just because we’re hanging out doesn’t mean we’re romantically dating. You know what I mean?”

Not long ago, Green, himself, dismissed the rumors while making an appearance on the In the Blind Podcast. He applauded Moroney, calling her “talented,” but shrugged off any notions of a romantic relationship.

Elsewhere in the RS interview, Moroney dissected her struggles with past partners, saying that it's been almost a year since her last relationship. She told the publication, "I could not imagine going through the past year if I was upset and crying over a dude."
