In a recent social media post, Megan Moroney has (extremely sadly) confirmed there will not be a Cloud 9 Deluxe album.
Her latest post shared some cute headshots - and an even cuter pic of Boots, her dog. Nothing of note, really, until a fan commented and asked if there was going to be any further Cloud 9 music.
“Is there a C9 deluxe?” one fan, hhagist16 mmentssed. “🩷no🩷” Moroney replied.
We know, we felt it too. With the tease of an unreleased song, ‘nm, wbu’ on socials and the new song she played at her Nashville show, ‘You For Me’, we were so close to certain that there would be a Cloud 9 Deluxe coming our way before Christmas. After all, she released Lucky (Deluxe) and Am I Okay? (I'll Be Fine) so it was in keeping with her normal release pattern.
But, alas, Cloud 9 Deluxe is not to be.
However, with the teasing of these new tracks and her mysterious gold outfit at the end of her Glasgow shows, we could just be hit with a brand new MM4 next year. Will her next era be gold? Who knows.
Maybe the clues aren’t really clues and maybe we’re reading too much into things, but we know that Megan Moroney doesn’t do anything by accident.
Her December 2026 shows celebrating her green Lucky and her blue Am I Okay? Albums at Mohegan Sun Arena may well reveal something stronger in terms of MM4, but all we know for now is that Cloud 9 does not have an extended edition on the way.
