Following the release of his acclaimed 2022 album, Wildhorse, New Jersey crooner Matt Koziol has revamped the project in the form of a new Barrel Aged deluxe version.

The recently released project, Wildhorse (Barrel Aged), finds Koziol showcasing his rugged, captivating vocals alongside two new special guests. Drake White joins Koziol for a reimagined recording of ‘Work All Day’, an irresistible ode to the simple life.

White's inclusion amplifies the evocative nature of the song, and helps to highlight the storytelling magic that Matt Koziol has laced into the lyrics, which were updated to align with White's new role as a father (“I love a woman / She’s my heart and joy / Looked like Heaven on Earth / When she gave you that sweet baby boy”).

Also appearing on the new, triple-distilled version of Wildhorse is Pennsylvania singer-songwriter, ZZ Ward, who lends her vocals to the classic ramblin’ man's ballad, ‘Loving You Loving Me’.

Alongside the updated renditions of ‘Work All Day’ and ‘Loving You Loving Me’ on Wildhorse (Barrel Aged) is a brand new track, ‘My Love from the Road’.

The sinuous, wistful song places Koziol's distinctive vocals front and centre, and finds the country prodigy offering an array of endearing advice to his nephew as he heads out on the road once again.

Across the new project, Matt Koziol flits effortlessly between a sparse, Stapleton-esque sensibility and a more radio-friendly, Luke Combs style of country anthem, with his underlying sense of soulfulness glueing each song together.
