“Married To My Job”: Ella Langley Shuts Down Engagement Rumours After Fans Clock Her Rock

In the space of 24 hours, Ella Langley has both ignited and extinguished rumours that she is newly engaged.

After teasing that she had “some surprises” earlier this week on her Instagram account, Langley’s relationship status was once again a hot topic of conversation as fans focussed in on an interesting element of her video.

Langley, Riley Green and Megan Moroney have been subjected to relentless media attention lately as fans suspected a fiery love triangle. After the roaring success of ‘you look like you love me,’ Langley and Green were pitched as a new country music couple of the ages, but this all broke down when rumours of Green and Moroney on a tropical island together surfaced, backed allegedly by an "unfollowing" of Moroney by Langley.

Alas, fans were filled with a new season of hope for Langley’s love life after she posted a video sat on a porch, singing ‘Honky Tonk Angels’ with her guitar… and a giant rock on her ring finger.

Her short caption of "what she said,” gave fans mere crumbs so, naturally, they jumped to their own conclusions.

And boy, did they jump.

Inevitably, Green’s name was peppered amongst the comments, with other artists like Lainey Wilson chipping in with elusive support – three heart emojis and not a word more.

However, while the internet sleuths got to work analysing every inch of her recent social media activity, Langley posted another update video. This time, she’s sat in what looks like a dressing room as someone hands her a ring and she responds, “That’s frightening… married to my job,” whilst trying it on her finger.

The five second clip breaks the hearts of fans who were speculating love for one of country music’s most adored personalities at the minute.

It does seem that the”surprises” could be more along the lines of music videos than wedding bells, but it was a fun 24 hours while we wondered intensely.
