Maren Morris has won the ACM Award for Female Artist of the Year.
The reigning Female Artist of the Year clinched the title for a second consecutive year.
It was one of six nominations she received at this year's awards ceremony, as her cross-over smash hit ‘The Bones’ was also nominated in several categories.
The first-ever recipient of this prize was Bonnie Owens back in 1966 and the artist to have won it the most times is Miranda Lambert.
All five women performed at the awards ceremony, with Morris joining her husband Ryan Hurd and Carly Pearce performing ‘I Hope You’re Happy Now’ with Lee Brice.
Lambert opened the show with Elle King, performing 'Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home)', before joining Jon Randall and Jack Ingram to perform 'In His Arms'. She also duetted with Chris Stapleton on his track 'Maggie's Song' later on in the show.
