Country behemoth Luke Combs has gifted us with the newest snippet of new music, and we simply can't get enough.

Titled 'Plant a Seed', the stirring tune, which Combs shared to socials on Tuesday night (May 28), finds the 'Beer Never Broke My Heart' hitmaker shedding some of his brighter, livelier antics and putting on a much more refined demeanor as he sings about the passage of time and seizing your opportunities while you can.

Less like a "carpe diem" mantra and more in the vein of Kenny Chesney's evocative 'Don't Blink,' Combs is heard singing: "He said don't you blink / Soak it up cause the next thing you know / You turn around and wonder where your whole life's gone / Remember it's about the journey / Don't fill your days with worry / Sure them youngins drive you crazy but you'll miss them when they're grown."

It's a stripped back tune, laying the sentimentality and gravity of the topic at hand on thick as a sweet acoustic guitar picks along through the first verse. Veering into the chorus, Combs' chilling layered vocals caress the moving lines as a solemn fiddle plays in the background.

Encouraging listeners to use their time wisely and for good, planting seeds of kindness, love and gratitude along their respective journeys through life, 'Plant a Seed' has the makings of being near the top of Combs' most evocative and heartfelt tunes to date.

'Plant a Seed' joins a slew of unreleased songs that Combs has been peppering out across his socials in recent months, including 'Huntin' By Yourself,' 'The Man He Sees In Me,' 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' and more.

If the growing list of snippets and teasers is anything to go by, this next Combs record is going to be one of the strongest of his career thus far as he continues to hone in on a more mature, introspective flavor of songwriting that keeps us yearning for more.

The North Carolina native is currently in the midst of his sprawling Growin' Up and Gettin' Old Tour, which will take the superstar through upcoming stops in Arizona, Utah, California and more through mid-August.

For the full lyrics to 'Plant A Seed' so far, see below:

He said don't you blink
Soak it up cause the next thing you know
You turn around and wonder where your whole life's gone
Remember it's about the journey
Don't fill your days with worry
Sure them youngins drive you crazy but you'll miss them when they're grown

Oh, time ain't always your friend
It starts slow and gets faster towards the end
So fill up your heart with love
Pass it on before you go
Thank the man upstairs that you were there to plant a seed and watch it grow
