Luke Combs surprised his Slane Castle, Ireland crowd with a couple of special cameos on July 18th, with the North Carolina native linking up with Dermot Kennedy and Garron Noone.

Noone, a fast-emerging singer-songwriter and a much-loved TikToker, came out during Combs’ signature ‘1,2 Many’ portion in the set, when he brings out a guest to shotgun a beer with him. Seeing as they were in Ireland, Combs aptly decided to down a Guinness alongside Noone, with the crowd responding with a sea of cheers.

Then, during the electrifying encore, the ‘Beautiful Crazy’ hitmaker treated the packed-out crowd at the historic venue to an unexpected duet with folk-pop trailblazer, Dermot Kennedy.

Kennedy joined Combs for the fiery, electric-guitar-fuelled anthem, ‘Ain't No Love in Oklahoma’, which appeared on the star-studded Twisters: The Album soundtrack in 2024.

Kennedy, who hails from Rathcoole in County Dublin, a mere 50 minute drive from Slane Castle, was a crowd-pleasing addition to the hit-filled show. His smooth, honeyed vocals complemented Combs’ comparatively guttural, gravelly delivery.

Elsewhere during Combs’ spellbinding set, the ‘Sleepless in a Hotel Room’ singer-songwriter serenaded the audience with fan-favourites like ‘Beer Never Broke My Heart’, ‘When It Rains It Pours’, ‘Going, Going, Gone‘ and ‘Houston, We Got a Problem’.

Combs also delivered a stellar rendition of his now-iconic cover of Tracy Chapman's ‘Fast Car’, which has been RIAA certified eight-times Platinum and has blossomed into one of the most keenly anticipated moments in his high-energy live set.

Now, Combs is gearing up to bring his colossal My Kinda Saturday Night World Tour to Scotland's Scottish Gas Murrayfield, before closing out the run with a triple-header at London's Wembley Stadium alongside Thomas Rhett, Ty Myers and The Castellows.
